Obsession of the moment: Sticker earrings!

I recently took my nephews to the toy store, and while we were looking around the store I noticed a bin filled with packets of sticker-earrings.  When I was a child I would never be caught without my stick-on earrings, so seeing them at the store brought back so many memories. I ended up leaving the store with two packs. Now I'm obsessed with them!!

I don't actually wear them as earrings. Instead I wear one at the corner of my eye to add a funky twist to my makeup when I go out dancing or to a concert.

Moustache Mondays ;{D

Last night, I was studying with a group of friends for our physiology exam. At one point we got off topic and were discussing my obsession with mustaches. Then one of my friends made the most amazing comment I have ever heard:
        "I like big mustaches and I cannot lie. You other sisters can't deny. That when a guy walks in with an itty bitty face, and a big thing on his face, you get sprung."

In my major (Biology) people always ask me why I dress up almost everyday. They think that it's crazy to look nice when most of the day is spent in class or studying. I think this is a rubbish excuse! You should always try to dress in your own style. You spend the money on clothes anyways, so you might as well wear it!

In honor of Valentine's Day I'm making this post about my newest style crush.

A few days ago I went to a Sleigh Bells concert. I've always thought the lead singer Alexis Krauss was pretty, but I was always conflicted on whether I liked her fashion choices. Mostly because most of her pictures are of her "BELLS 23" jersey or the school girl outfit from Infinity Guitar. However at the concert I fall in love with her outfit! She was wearing a studed leather jacket, vintage cartoon gray sweater that she cut the sleeves off of, black skinny jeans with rips and studs all over the front, her signature white Keds, and loads of bangles. [Unfortunately I was not able to get a good picture with my point and shot camera :( ] Right after the concert I had the strongest urge to go thrifting for an child's sweater to cut the sleeves off of.

Also, at one point in the set, she went crowd surfing and I got to hold her legs up! :{D
